About
Norwegian folk black metal band from the town of Sogndal. The band played for ten years, from 1994 to 2004, and is currently disbanded due to the death of its singer and founder, Valfar. Their name means “warrior”, translated into English.
Their style is clearly marked by tints of the folklore of the Sogndal area and many of their lyrics are sung in Sognamaol, a local dialect derived from Norwegian. The band achieved success, being well known in the Norwegian black metal scene.
