One of the pioneers of doom/death alongside Anathema and Paradise Lost.
Founded on June 6th, 1990.
The group is rooted in Abiosis, a unit which included guitar player Andrew Craighan and drummer Rick Miah and issued a three-track demo Noxious Emanation in 1990.
A five-disc plus book and 7″ vinyl box set, A Harvest of Dread, was announced by Peaceville Records in late 2016 and was made available to pre-order. However, “due to production difficulties”, it was not manufactured and was withdrawn from sale. The accompanying 7″, Hollow Cathedra was later made available separately.
