The German band Xandria has, to date, released four studio albums that are very well regarded in the metal community. Now they have released a compilation/best of. “Now & Forever” features some of Xandria’s best moments, but also much more. The package includes a 20 song audio disc, 70 minutes of excellent music. The other part of the package is a DVD that includes: live material, interviews, video clips… the whole shebang – and it all comes in a beautiful digi pack with paperback. A lot of care was taken in compiling the material for this collection and it really shows. Appropriately, the song “Now & Forever” kicks things off and is the first of five songs from the band’s 2005 “India” CD, and it’s a great way to start.
