Edguy. Power metal band from Fulda, Germany.

In 1992, in the small town of Fulda, in Hessen, Germany, four high school students, barely 14 years old, who made fun of their uptight math teacher, Professor Edgar, formed their own heavy rock band, their names, Tobias Sammet on vocals, Jens Ludwig, Dirk Sauer and Dominik Storch. With touches of irreverence not very particular for their genre, the band clearly headed for a European Power Metal sound, with Tobias Sammet as the main creative of the band, they decide to call the band with an epithet from the name of their Mathematics teacher. Edguy was definitely born! .
