About
Lord Vampyr is a band founded by Alessandro Nunziati, the former singer of Theatres des Vampires, which he decided to leave at the end of 2004. He then started the band Lord Vampyr in 2004, his style is very similar to the style of his former band, a symphonic black metal with gothic metal influences and with lyrics dealing with vampirism and similar themes. The other members of the band are: Lady Ether (vocals), Seth 666 (guitar), Aerioch (bass), Endymion (keyboards), Aeternus (drums).
The band members expressed their fascination with vampires and everything related to them, earning themselves and their music the title “Vampiric Metal” from their contemporaries. The band created a consistent image of vampirism in their stage performance and within the lyrical themes and atmospheres of their music, which contributed greatly to gaining their fans.
During their career, the band was first influenced mainly by symphonic Black Metal, but then tended to include different influences, among them: classical music, opera, darkwave, deathrock, gothic rock and various industrial subgenres.

Their style mixes Power Metal with melodic and aggressive elements.
They have also had many special guest musicians on their albums. Among them are Carl Johan Grimmark from Narnia and Eric Clayton from Saviour Machine.
